I started packing all my stuff for Philidelphia, and my Grandma wanted me to have some more lighter clothes. I had been packing in an old, bulky suitcase and she said we could look at luggage. Macy's was having a big sale on it, and we poked around. I was reluctant, because I hardly ever travel, and good luggage, even on sale, is expensive. But she insisted that it would be good to buy, because as I get older, I might travel more often. And it'll last for college, too. So I got a nice rolling pack and a carry on that can attach. (Think Stephanie's backpack and matching lunchbox. But black.)
Then we got a light pink "pant" and a dark pink "pant." (The singularliciousness is for my main ho, Katho.) And a green lightweight top and the same one with a pattern. Then we went home, and she helped me pack it all up. We got along quite well, and now I'm pretty much packed up. I'll want some music and a book, maybe an umbrella for the sun and rain, but those are easy. I'm so glad to be done and not have to rush around. I asked George on Sunday if he'd packed yet. He laughed and said he was waiting for Wedensday night. Fool! Hehehe!
I also did a lot of reading, almost 100 pages in my huge book, "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn." I've been taking notes. I'm almost done! I should be done before we leave on Wedensday, when I can start my other summer reading book, "Bless Me, Ultima." Emma says it's good. I hope so!
Also, last call for those of you who want postcards. Betsy, you may be the last one who religiously, or possibly even occasionally, reads my blog. I'll send you one, but email me anyway. :)
Now I'm off to do a bit more reading and to watch another "Jeeves and Wooster," movie.
