I need to make a point clear before I begin: I am a girl.
But I am seriously mad about this whole "Girls can do anything" attitude. It's just wrong. All these people try to convince us that we can do anything, and it's all a lie! Do you hear guys saying "Boys can do anything?" No. Because they already know it so they don't have to obsess over it all the time. It's like when people say, "If you say it enough it might come true," sarcastically. Same thing with "Girls can do anything."
And also, it's just blatantly false. A million guys can slam dunk and hit home runs and run miles and miles. And then 1 girl does it, just 1 freakin' girl, and their like, "See? Girls can do anything!" I always wanna yell "1 Freakin' chick did it! She's a freak of nature! Don't tell me I can play football just because some freak can!"
So as for me, you'll find I am comfortable slicking on lippy on the sidelines and ignoring the coach and mocking him behind his back for telling us we can play football too.
It's all bullshit! I can't play football! And if I want to cook and clean and drive my 2.3 children everywhere wearing a polkadot dress and pearls, then leave me the hell alone, I say!
